Fez Delivery for online sellers in Nigeria (2026): live rates at checkout, pickup booked for you
What Fez costs and how long it takes, and how to show customers Fez's live price at checkout and have the pickup booked the moment they pay.
Delivery is the part of selling most Nigerian sellers still run by hand. You work out what to charge for Ibadan, find a dispatch rider, agree a price, wait for the rider to show up, send the customer updates, and answer "where is my order?" until the parcel lands.
Fez Delivery takes the riders off your hands: a Fez rider picks up from you and delivers to your customer's door, across Nigeria.
Connected to Bizthom, it goes further. Your customer sees Fez's live delivery price when they check out, the Fez pickup is booked as soon as they pay, and they're told when the parcel is on its way and when it's delivered. No riders to recruit, no pickups to book, no delivery fees to quote.
This guide covers how Fez works, what it costs and how long it takes, then how that connection works on Bizthom.
We make Bizthom, a commerce platform that connects to your own Fez account, so read the parts about our product with that in mind. Everything about Fez here comes from Fez's own website and developer documentation, checked in October 2026.
Fez Delivery at a glance
- What it does: picks up parcels from your business and delivers them to your customer's door.
- Where it delivers: nationwide, according to Fez.
- How long it takes (Fez's own estimate): Lagos usually within 24 hours, the South West 1 to 3 working days, the rest of Nigeria 3 to 5 working days.
- Insurance: Fez offers insurance on shipments.
- Tracking: by order number on Fez's tracking page, and in Fez's business dashboard.
- Paying Fez: from a Fez wallet you fund by card, bank, USSD or transfer. Fez also offers a post-paid plan for SMEs.
- Also: imports from abroad, exports from Nigeria, and smart lockers where customers collect parcels.
How much does Fez Delivery cost? Is there a price list?
Fez doesn't publish one price list for businesses. Its pricing page lists deliveries for individuals from ₦1,000 and asks SMEs and bigger businesses to talk to its sales team.
What decides your price, according to Fez's website and developer documentation:
- Where the parcel leaves from: the state it's picked up in.
- Where it's going: your customer's state.
- How heavy it is: Fez has a capped price for parcels from 0 to 5 kg. Heavier parcels cost more.
- VAT: added to the delivery cost, so what you pay is the cost plus VAT.
So your "price list" is really a list of prices from your state to each of the 36 states and the FCT. To see yours, use Fez's quote tool or your Fez business account.
Don't charge one flat delivery fee for the whole country. If you charge everyone the same and Fez charges you more for a far state, the difference comes out of your profit on every order to that state. Charge by state, or let your checkout show Fez's live price (more on that below).
How Fez Delivery works for a business
- Open a business account on Fez's business portal.
- Fund your Fez wallet, or ask Fez about post-paid.
- Create a delivery for each order: your customer's name, phone number, address and state, the parcel's weight and value, and the day you want it picked up. If the customer is paying on delivery, Fez lets you mark the parcel and enter the amount to collect.
- A Fez rider picks it up from you and delivers it.
- Send the tracking number to your customer so they can follow the parcel.
Fez takes care of the riders. But on your own, you're still the dispatcher: you work out each customer's delivery fee, book every pickup, pick the day, send every tracking number and keep every customer posted. That's the job the Bizthom connection takes off you.
Ways to connect Fez to where you sell
1. Fez's own plugins. If your website runs on Shopify, Fez has a Shopify app with local and international delivery, shipping labels and tracking. On WooCommerce, Fez's WordPress plugin sends your WooCommerce orders to Fez. Both are free to install, and you pay Fez for the deliveries.
2. Fez's API. If you have a developer, Fez's developer documentation covers creating deliveries, getting prices, tracking and status updates.
3. Bizthom, connected to your own Fez account. Your website and your DMs both show Fez's live price, book the pickup when the customer pays, and keep the customer updated until delivery.
Fez on Bizthom: live rates at checkout, a rider at your door, nothing to book
Bizthom is a commerce platform built around how Nigerians buy: a website that converts, an inbox that sells, an AI sales agent called Ejiro, automations, campaigns and a POS, working together to turn a conversation into a sale and a first sale into a second.
Connect your own Fez business account, and delivery runs itself, from the price your customer sees to the moment the parcel reaches them.
1. Your customer sees Fez's live price at checkout
- The right delivery fee for every state, without a price list. Your buyer picks their state and sees Fez's live price for that state and the weight of what's in their bag, VAT included. You never quote a fee, you stop losing money on far states, and you stop overcharging nearby ones.
- A website that sells before delivery even comes up. Reviews pulled from your DMs, voice notes and photos included, real stock counts that create urgency, a timer on the bag, negotiating with Ejiro, part payments, pay on delivery, and bank transfers that confirm themselves.
- Your own rider, if you have one. Keep them for same-day delivery in your city and let Fez cover everywhere else. Your buyer sees both and picks.

2. The pickup books itself when they pay
- Paid means booked. When an order is paid, Bizthom books the Fez pickup for you, from the store that's sending the parcel, on the earliest pickup day. A Fez rider comes to your door to collect it. No rider to recruit, no calls to arrange a pickup.
- Pay on delivery too. Pay-on-delivery orders are booked as soon as they're placed, and Fez is told how much cash to collect from your customer.
- Your orders move on their own. When Fez collects the parcel, the order moves to out for delivery. When Fez delivers it, the order is marked delivered.

3. Your customer is kept posted, without you
- "Out for delivery", with the Fez tracking number. When Fez picks up the parcel, your customer gets a WhatsApp message, SMS or email with the Fez tracking number. Order messages are free on Bizthom.
- "Delivered". When Fez delivers, your customer is told. Fewer "where is my order?" messages for you to answer.
- Problems reach you first. If a delivery fails or a parcel comes back, Bizthom alerts you so you can call the customer before they lose patience. If your Fez wallet is too low to pay for a booking, you're told.

4. Sales in your DMs work the same way
- Ejiro quotes Fez's live price. When a customer with items in their bag asks "how much to deliver to Port Harcourt?" on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, Ejiro answers with Fez's live price for their state and those items, next to your other delivery options.
- Paid in the chat, booked with Fez. Ejiro takes payment in the chat with an account number made just for that order. Once it's paid, the Fez pickup books itself. If the customer pays first and sends their address later, the booking waits for the address.
- Sales you close yourself take one tap. Tap Create order in the chat, and Bizthom AI fills in the products, the address and the delivery option from the conversation. The customer is already saved with their name and number. Then tap Book Fez pickup on the order, pick a day, see Fez's price and confirm.
- Shop and phone orders too. Delivery orders you ring up on the POS or record by hand book with Fez from the order page the same way.

The fiddly parts, handled
- Weights. Fez prices by weight, so every product needs one. Bizthom AI suggests a weight for each product that doesn't have one; you check them and save. Weights you entered yourself are never changed.
- Packaging. Save your boxes and bags with their size and empty weight, and the empty weight is added to the products' weight, so Fez's price matches the real parcel.
- Returns and exchanges. Book a Fez pickup to bring a return back, or send the replacement, from the same order.
- Changing your mind. You can cancel a booking until Fez picks the parcel up, and Fez refunds it to your Fez wallet. To change the day, cancel and book again.
- What it costs. Fez bills your own Fez wallet at Fez's price, and Bizthom adds nothing on top. One thing to plan for: on free-delivery orders your buyer pays ₦0 and Fez still charges your wallet, so set your free-delivery amount with that in mind.
- The next sale. When an order is marked delivered, an automation can send a thank-you, ask how it went or give a reason to come back, and Bizthom AI helps you write the campaigns that bring customers back for their next order.
How to connect Fez to Bizthom
- Get your Fez user ID and password. Fez gives them to your business once your Fez business account is verified.
- Connect. In Bizthom, go to Settings, then Delivery, then Shipping companies, and connect Fez Delivery. Bizthom checks your details with Fez before saving them, stores them encrypted, and deletes them if you disconnect.
- Add your store's address and state in Settings, then Locations, so Fez knows where to collect parcels.
- Choose how it works. Show Fez's price at checkout, and book a pickup when an order is paid. Both are on from the start, and you can turn either off.
No developer needed. Fez is included on selected Bizthom plans; see pricing.
Should you use Fez?
Fez on Bizthom is a good fit if you'd rather not recruit, pay and chase your own riders, you send parcels to other states, and you want every customer to see an exact delivery price before they pay. If most of your orders are same-day in your own city and you already have a reliable rider, keep them for those and let Fez handle the rest.
Before you commit to any delivery company, send a few test parcels to the states you sell to most. Check the price, how long it took and how the rider treated your customer. Your customer remembers the delivery as part of buying from you.
A simple checklist

- Pay on delivery only where you're happy to wait for the cash
- Failed deliveries followed up the same day
Frequently asked questions
