3 messages that make customers buy from you again
The first order is the expensive one. The second should be almost free. Three unusual messages that bring customers back to buy again, and how to send them without doing it all by hand.
You paid for that first order. The ad, the hours in the DMs, the "how much last?", the follow-up when she went quiet. By the time she paid, that customer cost you real money and real time.
The second order should be almost free. She already trusts you. She knows the quality. She has your number.
But most sellers never send the second message. The order is delivered, the chat goes quiet, and the customer drifts to whoever posts next on her timeline.
If you want customers to buy again, there are three unusual messages you should send them.
1. "You've got points to spend on your next order"
Tell her she's earned loyalty points, and what they're worth. You decide the value: 1,000 points could be ₦1,000 off, or whatever works for your margins.
Why it works: points turn a finished order into an unfinished one. She's not being asked to spend money; she's being reminded she already has some with you. Nobody likes leaving money on the table, and that small nudge is often what tips "maybe later" into "let me just order it now".
What to send:
Thank you for shopping with us, Ada! You've earned 1,500 points, that's ₦1,500 off your next order. They're waiting for you.
2. "When's your birthday? We'd love to send you a treat"
Ask for her birthday — just the day and month — and promise a surprise.
Why it works: almost nobody asks. A seller who remembers her birthday stops being "that Instagram vendor" and becomes her vendor. And a birthday is the one day she's already in the mood to treat herself.
What to send:
Hi Ada, we like to send a little treat on birthdays. When is yours? Just reply with the day and month.
3. "How was your order?"
A day or two after delivery, ask how it went.
Why it works: it shows you care after you've been paid, which is exactly when most sellers disappear. A happy customer gets to say so, and her answer becomes the proof your next customer needs. An unhappy one tells you privately, before she tells her followers.
What to send:
Hi Ada, did everything arrive well? We'd love to hear what you think, a voice note is fine!
The problem: doing this by hand
Now this leads to two questions.
Do you send these messages to every customer yourself, a day or two after every delivery? And when they reply, do you copy their birthday into a notebook, work out their points in a spreadsheet, and screenshot their kind words to post later?
You could, for ten customers. At a hundred a month, it falls apart. You forget who's due a message, the birthday notebook goes missing, and the lovely voice note from last month is buried somewhere in your WhatsApp.
How Bizthom sends all three for you
That's where Bizthom comes in. You switch on ready-made automations, and they send these messages at the right moment — the feedback request two days after delivery, the birthday question to new customers — on WhatsApp, SMS or email.

When she replies with her birthday, Bizthom AI saves it. However she writes it — "12 March", "march 12th", "it's on the 12th of March" — Bizthom AI reads her reply on WhatsApp and saves it to her profile on your Bizthom dashboard.
She gets your thank-you and any points you give for sharing it. You don't type anything.

Then, on her birthday, she gets her treat. A few days before, Bizthom sends her a warm message with a gift link that puts your birthday offer straight into her bag. If she hasn't ordered by the day itself, she gets a gentle birthday reminder that her treat is still waiting.
Her points follow her everywhere she buys. Whether she orders on your Bizthom website, buys at your shop's counter, or orders from a chat on WhatsApp, every paid order earns points. Next time she shops on your website or at your POS, those points come straight off what she pays.

And the points don't sit there forever. You set when they expire. Before they do, she gets reminders by WhatsApp and SMS, a gentle "you have ₦1,500 to use before Friday" that brings her back before the points run out.

Her feedback becomes your next sale. When she replies — in text, with a photo of the dress on, or with a voice note — Bizthom picks it up from your WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook chats and turns it into a review.

You approve it, and it appears on your Bizthom website right by the price, where the next shopper is deciding whether to trust you.

The feedback message also carries a link where she can leave a review with photos or a video. And you can send any review into a chat on Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook, the moment a new customer asks "is it original?"
Start with one
You don't need all three on day one. Start with the feedback message, because it pays twice: it brings this customer back, and it gives you proof for the next one. Then add birthdays, then points.
The first sale is the expensive one. Let Bizthom bring her back for the second.

FAQ
Do I have to send these messages myself?
No. In Bizthom you switch on ready-made automations, and they send each message at the right time, on WhatsApp, SMS or email.
What happens when a customer replies with her birthday?
Bizthom AI reads the reply, however she writes it, and saves it to her profile. Her birthday treat then goes out automatically every year.
Can customers use their points in my shop, not just online?
Yes. Points come off orders on your Bizthom website and at your POS, and every paid order earns them, including orders that start in a WhatsApp chat.
How do customer voice notes become reviews?
Bizthom picks up praise from your WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook chats, including voice notes and photos, and turns it into a review. You approve it before it appears on your website.
