Shipping zones and delivery areas

Not every business ships nationwide, and delivery costs vary by location. Shipping zones let you control exactly where you deliver and how much it costs.

What are shipping zones?

A shipping zone is a geographic area you deliver to, with its own delivery rate. Most Nigerian businesses set up zones like:

  • Within your city — e.g., "Lagos Island", "Lagos Mainland" (₦1,500–₦2,500)
  • Major cities — e.g., "Abuja", "Port Harcourt" (₦3,000–₦5,000)
  • Other states — catch-all for everywhere else (₦4,000–₦6,000)

Setting up zones

Go to Settings → Shipping and create your zones. For each zone, set:

  • Zone name (e.g., "Lagos")
  • Delivery fee — fixed amount or percentage of order total
  • Estimated delivery days (e.g., 1-2 days)

In-store pickup

If you have a physical location, offer in-store pickup as an option. Set up a zone with ₦0 delivery fee and name it "Pickup" or your shop address.
