Connecting a domain to your store

By default, your store is accessible at yourstore.bizthom.com. You can connect a custom domain (e.g., mystore.com) for a more professional URL.

How to connect

After purchasing or already owning a domain, you need to update its DNS settings to point to Bizthom:

   Update nameservers or add DNS records

   Either update your domain's nameservers to point to Bizthom, or add a CNAME record and/or A record as shown in your domain settings.

   Wait for DNS propagation

   DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to propagate worldwide.

   Verify in your dashboard

   Once propagated, your custom domain will automatically work with your store.

Your default URL

Even after connecting a custom domain, your yourstore.bizthom.com URL continues to work. Customers can access your store from either address.
